PESAN BAPA SUCI PADA SAAT KAPITEL UMUM

Ketika membuka email, saya menemukan pesan Bapa Suci kepada para MSC,khususnya pada saat berlangsungnya Kapitel Umum ( Rapat Tertinggi Tarekat )MSC yang dilangsungkan di Madrid - Spanyol, belum lama ini. Berkat dan dukungan beliau kepada MSC, juga terarah kepada semua anggotanya, dan umat yang dipercayakan kepada para MSC. Karena itu, pada kesempatan ini, penulis menuturkan apa yang disampaikan beliau.
On the occasion of our XXIV General Chapter, the Holy Father sent this message to the Congregation:
His Holiness Benedict the XVI sends heartfelt greetings to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the occasion of their XXIV General Chapter, to be celebrated in El Escorial, and asks the Holy Spirit to guide and illuminate them in their deliberations and work so that, in full fidelity to their foundational charism and the Magisterium of the Church, they live their religious consecration with renewed desire to serve the Gospel and humanity.
At the same time, the Holy Father encourages them so that, seeking God above all things and only God in their lives, they find in the Sacred Heart the source of apostolic love that will inspire them to associate themselves to the work of redemption, as witnesses before others of the love that Christ, priest and victim, has shown us with his gift of self on the Cross.
With these sentiments and invoking the maternal intercession of the Virgin Mary on the Chapter members, as well as on all the religious of the Congregation, the Supreme Pontiff gladly imparts the Apostolic Blessing which they requested.

Semoga pesan beliau, dapat pula menjadi dorongan bagi kita untuk menemukan Allah dalam kehidupan kita sehari-hari, terlebih kita diundang untuk menjadi pernyataan kasih Allah kepada sesama kita.
